River Region Facial Plastics is excited to introduce Dr. Blake Raggio to the team! A native of New Orleans, Dr. Raggio attended Louisiana State University (LSU) for his undergraduate degree and completed his MD at the LSU School of Medicine of New Orleans.
Dr. Raggio then completed an extensive Head & Neck Surgery residency at the prestigious Tulane University Medical Center.
Following residency, Dr. Raggio was selected for a highly competitive fellowship program in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto with world-class surgeon, Dr. Jamil Asaria. Throughout his rigorous surgical training, Dr. Raggio has focused on perfecting his techniques in Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), surgical and non-surgical Facial Rejuvenation, Mohs defect repairs, and Hair Restoration, amongst other procedures.
As someone who remains up to date with current technologies and techniques, Dr. Raggio remains actively involved with research and has authored over 40 medical-journal articles and book chapters. He has educated his peers, both nationally and internationally, on various aspects of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Raggio serves as the Facial Plastic Surgeon for Alabama State University (ASU), Faulkner University, Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM), and Huntingdon College Athletic Departments. He believes in educating the next generation and volunteers as a Clinical Adjunct Professor with the Faulkner Physician Assistant Studies Program.
